Twitter has begun testing a new feature that allows users of the popular social media service to flag misleading posts or tweets made on the platform for potential moderation or removal.
As of Tuesday, Twitter said some of its users in the US, South Korea and Australia could report tweets posted on the platform that “seem misleading” in recent efforts to combat online misinformation.

Twitter users who flag a tweet as misleading are asked before submitting their report if the post is misleading about politics, health, or anything else.
A number of Republicans with popular, verified Twitter accounts were quick to criticize the feature, predicting it would be used to silence conservative voices.
