Our library book + book lists were very popular last month, and we’re excited for this month’s lists of beloved fall and pumpkin books for preschoolers and elementary school kids. Each book listing includes a list of quality books for ages 2-6, as well as a list of engaging activities that feature the theme. Each list also includes simple activity ideas to add some art, music, and nature to your child’s day.
I love reading seasonal books with my young children as it really helps them connect with what they see and do. They are really starting to notice the details more and get very excited when they read something they did in a book!
These fall and pumpkin books are perfect for navigating the pumpkin field or enjoying fallen leaves in the park. The activity ideas we provide are simple – down to things you can do at home or while hiking in your neighborhood – and don’t require much pre-planning. Basically, these activities will engage and enrich your kids’ minds without a screen!
Moms use our lists to:
- Screenless event ideas
- A home-based preschool curriculum (we show you how to combine gross and fine motor skills!)
- Days when the child must stay at home due to quarantine or exposure to COVID
- A resource for starting a home library of quality books
- Ideas for playgroups and play dates
The books on our list have been carefully selected for their sweet and engaging stories, richer language, and/or beautiful illustrations. You won’t find seasonal commercialized, cartoonish books that you often see on store covers in these lists! Each of these books is special, and many are classics, so you might not have heard of it before! You can find it on Amazon or your local library.
Remember, we got a lot of freebies book recommendationOn DoSayGive, but these book-based activity lists were created to help take the guesswork out of getting to the library by making it easy for moms to have a list of quality books and activities within a given theme. We think they are very unique compared to other preschool lists on the web and we hope you will enjoy them as a family for years to come!
An added bonus? These lists are lovely to print out with one of the books to give to a classmate – what a great and affordable gift for fall!
You can click directly below to purchase and choose one or both of the listings for just $10. Lists are downloaded immediately.
And remember, you can still have ours. apple and farm themed lists as well as last month.
