One of our favorite things to do at the beginning of each season is to refresh our library with seasonal books for our children to read. Today we’re sharing some favorite books about the sea that would also be perfect to read before a beach vacation or gift a birthday boy or girl this summer. Favorite Non-Fiction Beach Books

Encourage curiosity throughout the summer with non-fiction books. We’ve shared some ocean-themed below, but Gail Gibbons has lots of great books about different animals and plants. And this ocean anatomy The book is great for older kids. If you know a child who loves the sea, there is as much information as this book.
