Elon Musk denies flight attendants sexual harassment claim

Elon Musk describes allegations that he disclosed himself to a flight attendant in 2016 as “totally untrue”.

He said this was part of political attacks in retaliation for an attempt to buy Twitter in the fight for freedom of expression.

A flight attendant claimed that Mr. Musk exposed himself, rubbed his leg without his consent, and offered to buy him a horse in exchange for erotic massage while he was working as a cabin crew member under contract for SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet. The claim was reported by Insider citing documents and interviews.

“Frankly, these savage accusations are not entirely true,” said Mr Musk in a series of tweets.

The incident was alleged in a statement signed by a friend of the officer and prepared to support his claim.

SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Mr. Musk, paid $250,000 in 2018 to settle the claim, Insider reports.

Mr Musk told Insider his story was a “politically motivated hit” and made similar arguments on social media.

“Attacks against me must be viewed through a political lens – it’s their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will stop me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” he said.

“Finally, we’re going to use Elongate like this: [a] scandalous name,” he said. “Somewhat perfect.”
