Microsoft this week unveiled a new version of its LinkedIn app in China, designed specifically to exclude freedom of expression online, subject to the communist country’s rules.

LinkedIn’s new app, InCareer, will function as a digital job board that doesn’t allow people to post messages or share content on LinkedIn in countries outside the Chinese Communist Party’s reach.
