The Basics of My Moving Car | say give

[ad_1]

I spend a lot of time in the car between ridesharing, after-school activities, events, and meetings. Not so long ago, there was a season when I found myself constantly needing something—a pen here, a Band-Aid there, an extra thank-you note or a gift tag—and it wasn’t always that time to run to the store to get everything I needed. an option. I finally decided to make a list of what would be useful for each scenario, put them together and now keep them on my console at all times.

Let me tell you this: This will completely change the rules of the game! It took most of the stress (and let’s face it, panic at times) that comes with being on the move. Whether you’re in a season full of ridesharing and after-school activities, or on a long commute, this way of preparing is very helpful. Anything we can do to thoughtfully prepare and minimize stress is a win in my book!

Note: These are things I never take out of my car – this will be in addition to the diaper bag or anything that goes in and out of the car.

Things I Always Have In My Car:

  • Scissors
  • indelible pen
  • Pen
  • Pen (for homework on the go!)
  • packing tape
  • A few cards or stationery
  • Several gift tags
  • Ribbon (for last minute gifts!)
  • Paper towels/wipes
  • first aid kit
  • hand sanitizer
  • School Directory

Mothers of babies and toddlers, it would also be a great idea to have a small amount of diapers, wipes and spare clothes in your car. But I bet you already do that!

Now, how do we keep it all together? I’ve found it helpful to use clear bags as you can easily find what you need. truffle bags, pouches and cases are perfect for this! My favorite sizes and styles are below, along with a few dupes that are budget-friendly and just as useful!
